Custom-designed for the unique topography, climate, and operational needs of overseas mountain destinations, this Rainbow slides  attraction at La Mano del Gigante in Huila, Colombia, is a premium non-motorized outdoor play experience. Spanning 210 meters and built directly into the natural mountain slope, the slide features a classic seven-color segmented design. The color saturation is carefully calibrated to complement the lush mountain greenery and distant valley views, creating a striking visual contrast from above that perfectly balances thrilling recreation with scenic aesthetics—ideal for social media check-ins.

Engineered with heavy-duty steel structural supports and reinforced concrete foundations, the installation requires minimal earthworks. This approach preserves the pristine forest and surrounding coffee plantations, seamlessly blending the ride experience with panoramic valley views.

Positioned as a scenic landmark, an all-ages mild-thrill attraction, and a landscape-enhancing feature, the slide caters to both families and young adults. It effectively fills the gap in the park's single-viewpoint offerings, extending visitor dwell time and boosting secondary spending. Today, it stands as a core traffic driver at La Mano del Gigante, second only to the iconic Giant Hand viewpoint, and serves as a benchmark case study for bespoke, non-standard mountain tourism projects across South America.
