Nestled at Cafe Albania Adventure Park along El Salvador’s famous Ruta de las Flores (Route of Flowers), the iconic rainbow dry slide has become a smash-hit family attraction.

First opened to visitors in 2023, the slide underwent major expansion in 2025. It spans a total length of 320 meters, split into two connected sections of 140 meters and 180 meters respectively, with a vertical drop of around 65 meters and a uniform width of 5 meters. Unlike conventional water slides, this dry slide is constructed from specialized polyester fiber with a sealed surface finish, delivering ultra-smooth gliding performance with zero water required while maintaining stable, grounded riding safety throughout the run.

Engineered with scientifically segmented gradients, the slide alternates between gentle cruising zones and thrilling acceleration stretches. Guests ride side-by-side on double inflatable tubes under full staff supervision, striking an ideal balance of fun and safety suitable for kids and families of all ages. The park operates an all-inclusive wristband pass, granting full access to the rainbow slide, jungle maze and authentic coffee tasting sessions for a well-rounded day out.

As a flagship draw along the Route of Flowers, Cafe Albania draws droves of self-driving and tour group travelers from San Salvador and coastal hotspots such as El Tunco. It also drives foot traffic and revenue for local restaurants and artisan vendors in neighboring towns including Ataco. Boasting photogenic vibrant aesthetics paired with family-friendly thrills, this slide went viral across social media platforms, standing as a benchmark case for El Salvador’s tourism upgrade and family micro-vacation development.
