Rainbow Slides Installation Process

The installation of the rainbow slide starts with on-site surveying to measure slope gradients and dimensions, followed by the production and confirmation of construction drawings as well as incoming material inspection.

Two foundation construction solutions are available based on site conditions: concrete hardening foundation or non-hardened soil slope foundation. Workers clear, level and compact the slope surface thoroughly. For the concrete option, cast concrete on the slope and allow sufficient curing time; for the simple soil slope option, fully lay and fasten geotextile fabric. Afterwards, install HDPE slide panels uphill from the slope bottom, fully engage all panel buckles and secure the panels with expansion bolts, mount side retaining strips along both sides of each track, and seal all joints with waterproof sealant.

Next, install supporting safety facilities including guardrails on both sides, entry and exit platforms, drainage ditches, conveyor carpets, buffer mats and various warning signs. Once all installation work is finished, clear debris off the slide surface and conduct repeated test runs with snow tubes to adjust sliding speed and stability, fixing any defects such as warped panels or sliding jams. Finally, clean up the construction site, verify compliance with all specifications and complete final acceptance for handover.
