The slider blocks are the core components of rainbow slides, a popular outdoor recreational attraction. Their installation method directly determines the stability, safety, and service life of the slide. Currently, the industry mainly adopts three mainstream installation methods for slider blocks: snap-fit, screw-fixed, and hybrid splicing, which are suitable for different venues and slide types.

Snap-Fit Installation
This is the most commonly used quick-installation method. The edges of the slider blocks feature integrally molded male and female snaps and grooves, requiring no additional accessories. Simply align the blocks and press the snaps together to lock them in place. This method is easy to operate and highly efficient for construction. With no protruding hardware, it ensures a smooth, snag-free sliding experience. It is also easy to disassemble and reassemble, making it ideal for temporary mobile slides and small parent-child slides, while offering great convenience for future maintenance and refurbishment.

Screw-Fixed Installation
This is a reinforced installation method. The slider blocks come with pre-drilled fixing holes and are securely fastened to steel frames, concrete foundations, or treated timber bases using expansion bolts or anti-corrosion screws. This method provides exceptional holding power and extreme stability, capable of withstanding strong winds and high-frequency sliding vibrations without loosening or deforming. It is highly durable and perfectly suited for large-scale permanent rainbow slides and outdoor recreational facilities.

Hybrid Splicing Installation
This method combines the advantages of the two approaches above. The blocks are aligned and spliced together via snap-fit connections, while the bottom is further reinforced with screws. This not only ensures a flat and smooth sliding surface but also significantly enhances overall structural stability. Balancing installation efficiency with safety performance, it is currently the mainstream installation choice for medium-to-large outdoor rainbow slides and offers the widest range of applications.
