Rainbow slides feature strong terrain adaptability. They can be built on sites with solid ground and proper gradients, including natural mountains, scenic areas, ski resorts and barren slopes. They are also widely installed in rural resorts, theme parks, suburban parks, campsites and study bases. Flat land can be converted into slopes with steel frames, and abandoned mines can even be renovated to create distinctive slides.
For site selection, the ideal gradient for natural slopes ranges from 6° to 25°, while man-made slopes work best at 10° to 20°. Standard slides are 30 to 300 meters long and 6 to 15 meters wide. Construction is prohibited on basic farmland, ecological redline zones, cultural relic protection areas, lands prone to landslides or flooding, and densely populated residential areas. Slopes steeper than 30° or gentler than 5° are not suitable either. Relevant approval and filing procedures must be completed prior to construction, and locations with steady passenger flow are recommended for better operational returns.
